After working countless years in a service industry and seeing my job change for the worse with every takeover, I had the good fortune to be found redundant.

What could be construed as disaster, was in fact, just the opposite. I now had the time to pursue some of my passions.

After a three week vacation to the UK and a summer of wine and roses, or maybe better put, beer and music festivals, I managed to become a certified yoga instructor. Having already received my level three Reiki training, this seemed like a perfect fit. Some parts of my life were coming together but I still needed to get my creative life on board.

I have been interested in photography since I can remember. I recall having a small Brownie style when I was in grade school (not a Brownie but no idea now what it was). I had numerous film point and shoots throughout my formative years and got my first SLR in college. I kind of lost interest for a while after college or maybe priorities change once you have kids, but they age, and as luck would have it, digital was just breaking out. Turns out digital reignited my love for imagery plus I love playing in Photoshop (and it truly is play for me). The two were a perfect match.

That brings me to now and my ever evolving works of art. If you like even one image then I have accomplished something. If you don’t like any, then we are not on the same page and your tastes lay elsewhere. Regardless of what you like, find ANY art that you enjoy, seek it out, embrace it, have it fill your life and surround your soul.
